Choice of ski and snowboard equipment - ski rental in Selva

WHICH IS THE BEST SKI FOR ME?
Apart from the brand name of the ski, today there exists a vast range of models which apparently seem to be all the same but in truth are structured in a completely different way. In order to choose the most suitable ski for you, it is not only necessary to determine your actual skiing capability, but also the weight and the carving type of the ski. But above all we must understand your expectations. A sportive skiing technique needs a highly performing ski and the skier's constant commitment, while an easier manner of skiing requires a ski permitting also some little inattention. Do you want to make very tight turns, knowing that "parabolic shaped" skis tend to veer in straight stretches? Or do you prefer to have excellent stability on the ski even at high speed, knowing that this is to the detriment of tight turns? Why don't you opt for a compromise and choose a ski similar to those used in slalom or giant races.
Have a look at the available categories and find out which ski reflects your manner of skiing and let us choose the most suitable ski for you. Trust in the experience of our ski instructors and our employees. In fact, at Quality Rental our saying is also our first rule: Make your customer have fun and be completely satisfied with the equipment!

Ski BASIC **:

It is the very first time you stand on skis and try to make snowplough turns.

Ski ALLROUND EASY ***:
You are still snowplough turning, but you are about to leave it definitely.

Ski ALLROUND ADVANCED ***:
You have no difficulties in descending a red slope. You are not interested in a sportive manner of skiing and you don't love speed. This is the perfect ski for you. You are aware that at medium/high speed and/or on icy slopes the ski starts veering and has much less stability.

Ski VIP EASY ****:
You also ski on black slopes, maybe very slowly or only if accompanied by an instructor. This is a very good ski which could be suitable also for a former beginner. These skis are light, versatile and allow some inattention. Ideal for skiers, who are looking to improve their technique.

Ski VIP LADY ****:
You are able to ski on blue, red and even some black slopes. This ski has been worked out exclusively for women. It does not only have an attractive design, but also and above all the construction of the ski takes into consideration women's posture on skis, which tends to be a little bit more rear compared to that of men.

Ski VIP ADVANCED ****:
You ski on all kinds of slopes without problem. Do you want to have fun at medium-high speed and to feel safe even when the snow is hard or icy? This is the right ski for you. This category presumes that you have already reached a certain skiing level. It is up to us to understand how you love to ski, that's to say if you prefer wide or tight turns, if you love speed or are a cautions skier. If you really want to enjoy your days, there are more sub-categories offering both.

Ski VIP ADVANCED "race carve" ****:
Do you want to enjoy your day and make wide as well as tight turns, without being afraid of handicaps. For example: you see a beautiful wide and clear slope in front of you and want to try high-speed turns or you see a steep and crowed slope and prefer to ski cautiously by making tight turns. This is the ski that meets all your needs.

Ski VIP ADVANCED "slalom" ****:
Do you want to get carried away while skiing? Do you love tight turns and your technique supports you? This is the right ski for you! You will be able to turn brusquely and easily even on steep slopes. Initiating a turn feels very exciting, but the ski tends to lose stability at high speed and in flat stretches of the slope.

Ski VIP ADVANCED "giant slalom" **** :
Do you want to get carried away while skiing? Do you love wide turns and your technique supports you? This is the right ski for you! It is ideal for medium-long radius turns and grants excellent stability even at high speed. However, skiing with this ski is much more tiring and tight turns are less easy to control on steep slopes.

Ski VIP FREERIDE / NEW SCHOOL ****:
Are you a "New Age" skier? Are you looking for an alternative to the snowboard? Do you want to try skiing on fresh snow or making some acrobatics in the fun park? Or do you just want to make some little jumps every now and then? Twin Tips are the right skis for you. They have one tip in front and one at the back.

Ski TOP *****:
This ski is ideal for expert skiers, who want to try a sportive manner of skiing and make the most out of the ski. The same features as those of the category Ski VIP ADVANCED are valid. Theses skis have just been bought by our ski rental for the coming season. The fibres used for the manufacturing of the ski have not been worn out yet. As we say at the QUALITY RENTAL this ski still has got strength, soul and heart.
